Andrew Galloway
Andrew Galloway began taking photographs in the 1970s with a Kodak Instamatic 126 camera. By the early 1980s he had graduated to 35mm film, making use of an Olympus Trip compact camera gifted by his mother. He saved up the earnings from a Saturday job at the Co-op in his home town of Wythenshawe, Manchester to buy a Nikon single lens reflex (SLR) camera. He has used Nikon equipment since. He is a graduate of the universities of Aberystwyth and Durham, and completed a City & Guilds in Photography in 2004.
